A lifelong resident of Middle Tennessee, Mr. Taylor has more than 20 years experience in the development and operations of private Golf and Country Clubs, especially those involving the integration of Clubs and Residential Developments. Following undergraduate studies at Austin Peay State University, where he was a scholarship member of the Golf Team, Mr. Taylor received his Masters Degree from Vanderbilt University. His experience in start-up operations began with his first position at Richland Country Club in Nashville, which moved to an entirely new location during his tenure. From 1992 to 1995, Taylor was a member of the management team that spearheaded the opening of Franklin’s Legends Club of Tennessee, where he served in a number of positions including Golf Professional. Continuing to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities, Taylor was VP of Green Links, Inc. – a private firm that specialized in the acquisition and rehabilitation of country club properties from 1995 to 2000. Most recently, he was Vice-President of Golf at Fairvue Plantation, where he was responsible for the construction, launch and post-opening operations of one of Nashville’s most successful golf club communities. Taylor’s golf experience dates back to working as a school-age caddie at the Richland Country Club in Nashville.
